how do I connect an IBM laptop type 2635 to the internet?
It doesnt have a phone or ethernet jack. I’ve tried mutiple cardbus wirless adapters but they dont work. I saw a similar laptop with a PCMCIA card once is that any different than your usual card? any way if anyone knows of any rs232 (9 pin)adapters or anything please help.
I’d start off by getting a PCMCIA ethernet adapter. If you were having problems getting the wireless ones to work it was most likely a driver issue. Buy a wired one, and follow the installation directions closely. If you can’t get the wired one to work, call the card manufacturer, as most of them offer free setup/installation support.
