Can I get a cable with a firewire jack at one end and a USB jack at the other?
I have digital8 camcorder with a firewire (IEEE3934) output socket, but my computer doesn’t have a firewire input socket, only USB slots. I want to transfer the video images, but can’t. I know I can buy a firewire-firewire cable, but is there a firewire-usb cable available? Otherwise, do I have to buy a firewire card to put into my computer to create firewire slot? thanks.
